Five French regional authorities (Brittany, Ile-de-France, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrénées and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), as well as hi-tech clusters of excellence such as SYSTEMATIC (for Paris and its region) and SCS (Solutions Communicantes Sécurisées, based in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), have joined UBIFRANCE in promoting France's mobile-telecoms industry at MWC 2013. This partnership will facilitate co-operation among industry players, by bringing together a large number of businesses from each organisation's respective industry field.  

Additionaly, the event is also supported by the international consulting firm Idate and the mobile web agency Opensugar that will set up for first time in the French pavilion QR code based promotional tools.

A World Class Cluster which federates Microelectronics, Telecom, software and multimedia key players in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It symbolizes a dynamic network of more than 230 companies (Small, Medium Business and big groups), laboratories and training centers, strongly involved in innovative projects.

Our ambition is to design and develop new solutions integrating components, networks, software and systems to exchange and process information in a reliable and secure way.
Our principal objectives are to foster and encourage new, innovative, competitive projects, to help SMEs to grow and develop and to participate in the creation of suitable ecosystem inside the regional TIC. The SCS cluster is endorsed by world-class industry leaders based in South of France: Amadeus, Atmel, Gemalto, Orange Labs, HP, IBM, ST/NXP Wireless, SAP, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Thales Alenia Space ( ...)
Since 2006, we have 288 projects certified, representing € 860 M R&D spending. A big part of those projects received more than 181 M€ of subsidies for 450 M€ spending in R&D.
SCS Cluster activities are also centered on support & market intelligence, business development support for SME's, communication, animation, training and international relationships in order to help his members to increase their development and business. SCS Cluster proposals for the creation of National Reference Centers in the fields of RFID and e-Health were selected by the Ministry of Industry: the headquarters are now located in the PACA Region.

The mission of Sud de France Export is to support companies on international markets, but it also acts as an interface with buyers to promote regional know-how and brings advice to regional companies for a competitive approach to markets. To achieve this target, Sud de France Export benefits from the support of a team of professionals specialized according to the sector of activity. High Tech is one of the main sectors in Languedoc-Roussillon. The digital technology sector in Languedoc-Roussillon is characterised by its dynamic energy and high level of innovation. The presence of internationally renowned groups, a fabric of small and mid-sized businesses at the cutting edge of technology and also top level universities and research facilities are the strong points of this constantly developing sector. Every year, the 3rd week of November, Sud de France Export organizes a B to B convention during the Digiwolrd Summit of IDATE. This event illustrates the region's ambition and strategy to launch digital technologies on an international scale.

"World class" French Cluster, Systematic brings together 480 key players in Paris area. Each of them working in the field of software-dominant systems with a strong social dimension.
At the heart of the digital revolution, the goal of Systematic is to develop the regional economy, boost the competitiveness of local companies and support employment growth by leveraging innovation, training and partnership opportunities.
The Systematic Cluster gathers 142 Large Companies, 311 SMEs-SMIs, 92 Research Centres and 102 000 jobs. We have developed 207 R&D projects, an investment of €975M, including €380M funded by the French Government, its economic development agencies (the National Research Agency and the OSEO) and from the ParisRegion local governments.
